Nine met Darren Dreamer after a fight with Daniel Pleasant. Nine had just discovered that Daniel was married. It was not love at first sight when Nine met Darren, but it turned out to be a love she can not forget. Nine pines away in the bed her and Darren bought to enjoy their retirement years. Fate stepped in and they only were allowed one night together in the bed they intended to spend years in.

Darren Dreamer wanted to be an artist. He met and married Darleen Dreamer and they had a son together. They named him Dirk. Darren was fired from his job, he struggled to make ends meet. Darleen died in a tragic fire and Dirk didn't grow up very well. Things couldn't seem to get any worse. Darren struggled to make ends meet by painting and selling his novels.

Darren fell in love with Cassandra Goth, although she claimed to love him she chose to marry Don Lothario. So Darren poured his soul into his artwork.

Darren knew that it was hard for Dirk growing up without his mother. He tried his best to encourage Dirk to succeed . Dirk studied hard and got a job and together they got by. Often they barely had a nickle in their pocket.

Nine

He finally decided it was time to show Nine he intended to start a new life with her. He sold his painting and took the money into town and bought a sparkling diamond ring. He made plans to ask Nine to be his bride. She decided to give love another chance and accepted.

Dirk moved out to attend college with the other kids in his class. It was a new beginning for the Dreamer Family.

The Dreamers began their honeymoon and began working on enlarging their family.
