The moment came when Nina gave birth to Don's second daughter and Don began to shower Nina with expensive gifts.

Nina was able to move into a larger home and Don made many late night visits to their home often spending the nights. Nina was soon Cassandra's biggest enemy and the town's people often seen Cassandra sneaking around the neighborhood taking great delight in knocking over Nina's trash and stealing her newspaper.
