Roller Coaster

An upward climb
Slowly twisting
Conundrums for my mind
You watch but can not comprehend

Don't hold me too tightly
I need to be free
Hold on just enough
to protect me from me

Climbing higher
Momentarily
Laughing out loud
at those that criticize maliciously

I know the dangers of the fall --
to suddenly spiral down
with darkness caressing my soul
Never will I be found
